Dear Friends,
As a Marin County Supervisor I sit on many boards and commissions, among them, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District Board.
The Air District recently launched a great program encouraging homeowners to change out old wood stoves and inserts, for cleaner burning options. The District will provide discounts of $300 to $600 for qualifying purchases. The program will be available till March 31st, or till funding runs out. Already, over 900 bay area residents have taken advantage of this program!
I encourage any of you who are considering purchasing a new freestanding stove or fireplace insert, to take advantage of this great program. Products must be purchased from participating retailers. For more information and a list of participating merchants, go to www.change4cleanair.org.
Sincerely,
Hal
